Normal or no?

Sometimes, during sex, when my bf is trying to insert himself, it seems very tight and he has to thrust, the small amt he can get in, slowly for a minute or 2 before getting past that point and then everything else goes as you all can expect. Mind you, it happens sometimes when I'm very horny or very wet. Is this normal or am I the only person it happens to?
