Feeling discouraged

This will be my third month TTC. I guess I didn't realize how hard it was due to my first born (with previous relationship) wasn't planned and happened not even a week of no BC. I really wanted my kids close and now the longer it goes by the sadder I get. I am glad I waited to find a man as a great father figure and almost husband, but it's upsetting to know now my kids could possibly be 3 & 1/2 or more years apart, anyone have children farther apart than closer that can boost my confidence. I am 11 months apart from my younger sister and 2 years apart from my older and I couldn't imagine it any other way
