Period for month straight.

Hi everyone. So I'm 16, and i have had the birth control implant for 2 or 3 months. I am a little concerned at the moment. I've been on my period for a little over a month straight. Like i don't know if i should be worried or not, it's light enough that i don't have to wear anything as long as every hour or so i clean up down there. It's like a brown color and gooey. Should i go to the gyno or just wait to see what happens?
