SOs first tattoo
We are going on 9 years together and I can honestly say it hasn't been easy. I patiently stood by my man when he wasn't working and trying to find his purpose and supported him for a few years financially.. Seems bad but when you love them enough is it?
As time passed he's been working a trade and moved in with me . We always joke about about legal marraige but it didn't seem like it would really change much. Now a MC and 5 months later still ttc, he announces he wants to get his FIRST tattoo. I'm thinking yay! Who really doesn't love tattoos and the first one is so memorable.
He tells me he wants my name tattooed as a wedding band . 1) I don't think we'll ever leave each other just because we've suffered enough trials and over came them together 2) I know it taboo to do names 3) I really don't want to be judged by his family or anyone else for taking that claim since a first tattoo is almost a right of passage for some.
I was tickled pink by the idea but really didn't want that to be his first experience of a "branding" like that.. He won't let up and insists that's what he wants for himself and it's not for me . We both don't wear rings now simply because of our jobs .
I love this man. We have discussed the idea of a chooses tattoo in the past but with all we've been this just this year it's never came back up..
I have such mixed feelings about it .
