Cervix check ???? Bleeding?? Pain

Today I had my cervix checked and omg it hurt so bad, I'm usally really good with pain but this had me saying ouch which is rare. I'm 38 weeks and 2 days, I had a cervix check 2 weeks ago and it didn't hurt near as bad, anyone else experience that??? Does cervix check hurt more the farther along u are? Or is it just the doctor?? Anyways now I'm bleeding, my appt was at 4 and I started having a light red blood discharge after I went to the bathroom, and now it's shown up in my panties 6 hours later... is that normal?? I hav had some cramping as well and horrible lighting crotch. I'm a ftm.
