My OB sweeped my membranes

..all day now I've had extreme backache, cramping, and bleeding ( bloody show )..contractions but nothing regular. Oh and I feel tons of pressure! I was already a 3cm 80% effaced..he said this could stimulate things to happen this weekend. I feel pretty awful but waiting for contractions to feel more regular. Did you ladies feel like this after a sweep? I couldn't believe how much things changed right after he did it.
