Thoughts on piercing a boys ears?

Just wondering y'alls opinion on getting a boys ears pierced. It's something I've never even thought of until I saw someone comment on another post. I know my boyfriend wears nice earrings all the time but I think I'll let my boy choose maybe? At the same time I've had multiple infections when Ive gotten mine done, maybe it'd be easier to just take them out if he didn't want them.

I got my sons ears pierced when he was 2 months! He doesn't look girl or anything and every guy in my family has had it done as well and never said they regreted it! The ones that didn't have it done went and got them done later or out of a friends house! If he hates them when he's older he can just take them out and not wear any. No different than a girl getting hers done! I don't care to wear earrings but I'm still glad mines was done as a baby as well

Anyone who says girls only is ridiculous, lol. It's 2016, not 1930. 🙄

Though, their body so I think it should be left up to them later when they can actually grasp the concept.
