Pink or blue?! 🙄

Just me that gets wound up with the fact everything for babies is either pink or blue. I don't do pink, never have and I'm having a girl so as you can imagine my house is COVERED in pink 😂 all we want is grey and black baby clothes and blankets just to break it all up once in a while - where are they all hiding?!

We are having a boy, however I don't want everything to be blue. They are lots of other colors. I registered for neutral items for future use and we painted his room a neutral khaki color with a midnight blue accent wall. Our carseat/stroller is black and grey and my mom gave me crap about it. She says its morbid to have black baby items, I think it's neutral and modern. She told me that I'm using weird colors because we don't want yellow, baby green, and baby blue for everything. It frustrated me. I agree that you can find colors other than pink at target and Amazon but good luck getting people to not shower you with pink.

I'm the same!!! I have 3 nephews, my friends have boys and so does my partners siblings.. Now that I'm having a girl I just can't cope with the bright colour of pink and girly stuff 😂

I'm having a girl and hate pink as well. For my baby shower I'm having lavender, teal & purple. I have no pink items on my registry list and let everyone know not to get me anything pink. It's all working out :)

I feel you 100%. I'm having a girl and have always hated pink. I told everyone to try to limit how much pink they got us. Her room is green and my husband and I even shop in the boy's section occasionally to get some gender neutral items to break up the sea of pink. I have given up fighting it too hard, though. I figure she'll be her own little person and will adore pink.

Also having a girl & hate pink. I've found tons of cute things in greens, blues, greys & yellows... A lot are still girly without being Pepto Bismo colored 😀.  For all of the baby gear, we have registered for or purchased gender neutral items. Our excuse is that we want more kids, and don't want to have to risk re-buying stuff in different colors in a couple years.
