2nd Child too soon?

Question

My husband and I want to have a second child. We had our first in Febuary, he's 6 months now. Would It be too soon? We just want them to grow up close in age. Opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and my daughter isn't even 5 months old yet. It was entirely planned. We wanted as small an age gap as possible. All the siblings I know with an age gap of less than two years are the best of friends, plus if this is our last we get all the difficult bits age wise done almost in one go. A lot of people will prob think we are crazy but we are very confident in our decision. Plus who knows how long it will take to conceive?

If you're ready and your body feels ready!! I personally couldn't even think about pregnancy for 4 years after my son! Haha but if you're ready to each their own! I know doctors say to wait a year between pregnancies but I'm not a doctor and I don't know why they say that... You should maybe just check With your OB! Good luck!

No such thing as too soon..... We have an 8 month old and we are 4 months pregnant....

If your feeling healthy enough a d your body is ready to go through the entire process again then go for it. Bare in mind having two so young will be alot harder work though. Appointments and if you suffered in your first pregnancy will be far harder with a young one to care for already. Its nice when they can grow up so close plus your getting it all over with now. Ive got a girl going secondary school in september and im expecting a baby boy december. Their will be a 11/12 year age gap depending if he comes on her birthday xmas eve. I had my girl perfectly fine then had hell conceiving after her with multiple losses all late stage. So for this reason id say if your able to go for it i would because you never know if this may happen and it did to me which we never expected in a million years

It's a personal thing. There's 12.5 months between my two and now will have a 5 and 6 year old with this one which is more scary to me than before!

Mine are 14 months apart, although there was plenty of difficult times, I wouldn't change it for the world. They are very close and I hope they stay that way x
