Great flood of 2016

Has anyone heard about the new great flood in Louisiana I've heard it's not on any other news but local? I just wanna know if anyone else was seeing it on national news or anything like that. It's one of the worst recorded floods in history. Family and friends have lost everything it's truly devastating. If you'd like to help people are taking in donations everywhere. Don't mean to ask for things it's just greatly appreciated.
