Circumcision or not?

Question

I'm having a hard time deciding if I should circumcise my son or not. I've been reading on it all. Pros and cons. I haven't talked to my husband about it yet to see his opinion but I want to know your opinions and things you guys have dealt with. Obviously I will talk to my husband and keep reading on it before deciding but I want to know what other people know on this topic and if they can help me gain more knowledge about it.

I told my boyfriend that's not my area and whether or not my little one gets a circumcision is up to him. As someone who has never had a penis I don't know how I could make an informed decision that would be anywhere near as valid as someone who has outdoor plumbing so to speak.

I really think you should just talk to your husband now about it...no offense not us strangers. It's a big decision and I'd hate for someone to scare you one way or the other on it. It's his kid too and he should be the one helping with it. Not trying to come off bitchy. I just feel bad cuz I see a lot of women on here admitting they don't give a f*** what their husband says and his opinion on it. And it just baffles me since it's his child too.

I asked my husband what we were going to do when our lil guy was born and he said without a doubt he will have a circumcision. I told him it really wasn't our choice maybe we should wait until he gets older and he can decide. He informed me it will cause more cleaning issues and when he gets older he will be angry with us for not doing it when he was born. So my husband wins and we will have our lil man circumcised 💙

I have a 3 year old son, who we didn't circumcise. I asked my husband and he thinks he should be like his dad.  My son was born with tight foreskin and might need surgery to fix it in the future. I might wish we circumcised him earlier.
