Mucus plug?

So I'm 18 and a first time mom,so sorry if my question is silly. I'm 25 weeks tomorrow,and I went to the restroom and wiped and it felt funny,and I saw a glob about quarter size that looked like snot,it was tinted greenish/yellow (like snot..) and I'm wondering could this be my mucus plug or even a part of my mucus plug? My mom said it should be bigger but I'm still wondering.
