My boyfriend is in the army, and this weekend, visiting him for his mid-cycle pass from basic training, is the first time I've seen him in about 3 months. Excuse the silly face 😅 we have officially been together for a year but were talking for 2 years before that. I didn't think I was ready to date someone knowing they could be taken from me at any moment but then realized he is the one who makes me the happiest. Out of the heater have been together he has Been gone for 6 months in Germany... He still makes me the happiest person.. Fortunately we are now living together❤️ couldn't be happier

My husband is a soldier and my high school sweetheart and we've been together since I was fifteen c: deployments are extremely hard but if you can make it through a year long deployment you can make it together through anything because you have to be one hell of a strong woman to stand by him while he's gone for so long. This is one of our wedding pictures (disregard the watermark because my uncle took the pictures then made them into a slideshow online and that's the only way I could get the pictures since they're not printed yet).
