Makena shots starting at 33 weeks?
I just had a two week appointment and my doctor said I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. He gave me a Makena shot. But I don't understand how this will work?? Most women start these at 16 weeks and stop at 36 weeks. I don't understand how getting the shot three times vs 20 times will do anything at all?? Does anyone know anything about these Makena shots?
