Baby growing too fast?

I will be 29 weeks tomorrow and (thankfully) have my next appointment with my OB as well. Just wanted to get some opinions about the issues I've been having. My little boy has had fluid around his kidneys since 3 months. My OB sent me to get a high resolution ultrasound last week because of the fluid as well as elevated amniotic fluid levels. Both are high, but not at dangerous levels. So they just need monitoring to make sure they don't get any worse. The doc hopes I just have high amniotic fluid cause my son is so big. 2 weeks ago he measured at 29 weeks. 2 weeks ahead. The next week he measured at 32 weeks. 4 weeks ahead! The doc said he could have very well gained a whole pound in just a week. I'm not even to 30 weeks yet. If he gets too big too fast will they induce? I know here, at a certain weight, they will do a c-section because large babies can do a number on the mother. I'm just not prepared for him to be early. And I'm worried about him being so big.
