Milk production question...

So I'll be having a c section on Thursday at 37 weeks due to complications... With my son I did not produce very much milk (emergency c section due to preeclampsia) and I would really like to breast feed my daughter this time around for a little longer... Does the c section/ the fact that I'm not naturally going into labor have some sort of effect on my lactation? TIA
