How many NB, Size 1 and Size 2 Diapers did you have when baby was born?

Question

Just curious to how many newborn, size 1 and size 2 diapers you had collected on hand by the time your baby was born? Not trying to stock pile to see what baby reacts well to but don't want to have to be running to the store too many times right when he gets out because I don't have enough, thanks!

I'm not sure about how accurate this may be but so far I have 300 newborn size and 200 size one. That's all the stocking I've done myself but I've also asked for diapers as baby shower gifts since I don't need anything else.

I bought a big pack of newborns. My son could fit in them for about a month (he was 6lbs 15oz) but we went to size 1 after the pack was gone. After that I got about 2 of the large boxes of size 1 and 3 boxes of size 2. That's what I started with, but I did end up buying a few more of each before he went up. I always have at least one box of the next size up on hand because it always seems like they fit fine and then the next day they would start leaking because they were too small. 😂

I got about 5 boxes of each size from my baby shower. I think I ended up switching some out at the store, but it was nice to not have to buy diapers for a while :)

No newborn. 300 size 1, 300 size 2, 300 size 3. I had ones & twos left over but have just had to buy more threes.

I had only 1 small pack of newborn diapers. Because the hospital will load you up before you leave, at least mine does. And I only used the newborn size until the umbilical cord fell off because they are designed with the U shape to not irritate it while it's healing.

We had one pack of newborn plus the pack from the hospital and that was all she needed b4 moving into size 1. (She was also a breastfed baby and didn't poop everyday). Every baby is different. But expect a minimum of 6 wet diapers a day and on  average most say 10 to 12 wet and dirty diapers a day and go from there.

My baby girl was born 6lbs 13 ozs and 21.5 inches long. She is 2 months old and we just switched to size 1  a couple days ago. She's about 11 lbs now just long and skinny
