heating bottles in the microwave?

I've heard that you're not supposed to but I see a lot of people doing it. My baby is formula fed and I heat up his bottles in hot water which takes forever and when you have a screaming baby in the middle of the night it's a pain in the ass 😫 microwaving would be so much quicker and easier.. 
Why is this not recommended? Is it because the microwave can cause it to heat up unevenly and scald baby's mouth? is it dangerous for any other reasons?

It hears unevenly, just like when you heat food and some of it will be crazy hot and another spot cold. I hear mine in the microwave, I just make sure I shake it before feeding

They tell you not to because it heats unevenly. I've never heated my baby's bottle I just leave water out to room temperature. Maybe try a bottle warmer

I always thought because if you heat plastic in the microwave it releases carcinogens? also that it makes it too hot for the baby

I have a formula container and 3 bottles with water ready to go. If you keep the water at room temperature you don't have to heat it.  When our son was younger he was using the already made formula, I did have to use a bottle warmer, since it had to be kept refrigerated after opening.

For a while I made a pitcher of formula for the day and put it in bottles and kept them refrigerated. The amount is 2.5 oz of formula per pound  of baby weight. So I made all his bottles and a few for the morning (14 total) And I would make it in a pitcher first and transferred to bottle so it didn't have bubbles to avoid colics. When he consumed one I would take a bottle out so by the time he got to it, it was already room temperature. When I had about 4 bottles left I ran all his bottles in the dishwasher (get a basket) with a sanitize rinse and started the whole process all over.

Once I got the formula container I just prepare bottles of water and with the measured formula and  all I do is dump, shake , and feed. It's much easier and less time consuming.

If you are lacking sleep and waking up frequently and night to feed I suggest to prepre the bottles and just take them out as you go, mostly because when I first started I had a lot of formula on the floor due to missing out of being tired.

Yes it's because it can heat unevenly and burn mouth. I don't know anyone that heats bottles in microwave.
