Is a second baby shower okay?

I'm having my second daughter...but I want to have another baby shower...I was going to make gifts optional but atleast brimg a pack of diapers or wipes is that okay? I just want to get everyone together because I enjoyed having everyone there or me what did you guys do? Or think

I'm one of those people who frown upon throwing yourself a shower. If someone else does, it doesn't really matter, but when you do it yourself, it's pretty much asking to get stuff. Even you said diapers. Buy them yourself. You can have a party and not have a shower/baby associated with it at all, when it becomes a shower? It's asking for things whether you want to believe it or not.

Totally fine. Make it a diaper sprinkle and/or diaper party. May come off better to people who would be invited since its your second of the same gender.

To be clear I do not have any friends or family to throw me one. They can attend obv but most of them live in apartments, with their apt and renting a hall where i live is stupid exspensive so yeah im going to have to throw it myself lol

I've always seen showers regardless of how many other babies the mom has. However, I've never seen someone host their own baby shower.

Go for it!! My first daughter is 4, and my second shower is tomorrow! My sister-in-law really wanted to throw me another shower, and at first I was a little stand-off ish, but I'm super excited just to get together with everyone tomorrow and eat and play games!! :)
