Sex after giving birth

I will be six weeks pp in few days n wanted to know how it felt when u had sex after delivery? I still feel stinging pain sometimes dwn below as i had stitches. My partner cnt wait to hv sex n so cnt i but anytime we tried to get cosy i feel pressure in my vagina instead of being horny. It scares me. Is it not possible to be turned on atm? Any suggestions?
