34 weeks??

Question

I'm 34  weeks, I have my car seat and stroller but they are still in the box. When should I have my car seat out and ready??

I say now. I am 34 weeks and was just in the hospital yesterday for pre-term contractions. I've had a healthy pregnancy with no complications, you just never know what could happen. They recommended I get the car seat put in ASAP! Good luck to you

I have decided to wait just because of by chance you get into an accident with it in the car you will have to buy a new one! If for some reason we don't get it into the car before we arrive at the hospital, my husband will have time to run home to get it, or we can send another family member to the house to pick it up.

We received our stroller & car seat a couple of months ago & took it out this week to set it up & my husband started practicing to load the car & fold/unfold the stroller. He's super excited! We are now 34 weeks. I suggest you take it out soon...

I've been having a lot of back aches and cramps and I feel like my little guy has dropped so I thought I should get ready so I put the car seat in the car and have the diaper bag packed. I just need to pack my bag and I'll be ready. I'm a couple days away from 35 weeks. Still early but you never know!

35+2 and husband put my car seat in for me last weekend. Stroller came out of box and into the trunk same day. 👍 so excited and getting nervous.

I am 34 weeks and have had my car seat base installed since August 6.  I just put my stroller together today as the box was taking up too much space.

I'm 33 weeks. We've had our stroller and car seat for a little while now. We put together the stroller and have it in the closet and her car seat is in her room waiting with the soon-to-be packed hospital bags.

Between 35-36 weeks we will install her car seat base. And wait to put the car seat in until we are heading to the hospital for 'baby time!'

I put mine in the car at 34 weeks. You never know when it will happen. Our bags are also in the car already. I was in labor at 34 +6. They stopped it and now I vet I will have to force him out.

Do it now. U could go in pre term labor at any moment,  or u could go full term or even past 40 weeks. It's simply not worth risking not being ready to roll when time comes.  Also, u might want to make absolutely sure ur car seat and base work with ur car and are installed correctly. Last thing u want or need to do in ur last week is run around looking for another seat because the one u have doesn't fit right or u can't seem to get the instructions down... better do it now.   If u have any issues, there's time to address them without stressing for time
