Second day of faint positive line after several months of TTC after 2 ectopics and one tube removal. Very excited and praying for a sticky babe! I'd also like to share that this week marks 2 years of my mother being gone. She was obsessed with babies- ran a daycare, cherished my first and only child (her only grand baby) and pestered my sister and I to give her more. Well, for 2 years I haven't felt her presence at all even though I'd hoped for a sign that she was watching over us. A few nights ago I woke up to feel a hand on my stomach and reached down to hold what I thought was my husband's hand. He was asleep and facing the other way with his hands under his pillow. I woke him to explain what I felt and he couldn't get back to sleep due to feeling like his heart was racing...described his energy as feeling "weird or off". I am not a super spiritual person but I feel like that hand was my mom telling me she was the first to know I had conceived. (This is special because she knew I was pregnant and bought me a test the first time I was pregnant years ago.) After so many pregnancy losses it can be worrisome to feel like this joyful time is fleeting, but a brief moment of connecting with my deceased mother brings me some comfort this time.
