Need advice..

This is in regards to credit. Several months ago I began an application with uber. I figured it would be a fun thing to do on the side. Well I never finished the application. I got as far as putting my name, and dob... but since I was an uber rider years ago they had old my address info. (I never finished the application)

So I get an email from credit karma saying a new inquiry came up on my credit report... so I'm freaking out. I've been trying to boost my credit for a few months ever since this theft issue. I check and see something with Xchange Leasing and then i remember seeing an email from Xchange Leasing that I need to check my account. I was confused.... it was connected with uber.

I don't understand why they would do that when I never requested to lease with them. I never gave them any permission. I do know they could check it using my name and dob but I never finished the application for them to pursue it.

Is there anything I can do??
