I'm 15 with a UTI?

Hey guys, I'm 15, it's been hurting when I pee and I looked it up and it says it's a UTI for having sex but I'm a virgin because I want to loose it till marriage. It's there other ways to get a UTI? :/

You held your pee to long or you drank a lot of sugary drinks or you stayed in dirty water for to long like a creek or you didn't really drink much so the bacteria stayed in your bladder you wipe improperly there are so many things and reasons UTIs happen. It's not always from sex

A UTI is not sexually transmitted. You can get them for multiple reasons like drinking too much pop and not enough water. Tell your mom so she can take you to the doctor so you can get antibiotics

Yes, any time bacteria gets into your vagina you can get a uti. For example, if you use the restroom and you wipe back to front instead of front to back. You can get a uti.
