Birth story

Shylah • 22 married, career in the medical field, and have 2 precious babies!!😊
When I was pregnant with my first and my water broke it was not the Hollywood gush. I felt like I was peeing a lot and that I was tired. I went to bed that night woke up next morning and was peeing like crazy being a Ftm my mother n law said my water probably broke so I needed to go to hospital. I was not in pain or what everyone described and I told her she was crazy and that I'd go but if just be sent back home. My friend that took me had given birth a few months before and she even said I didn't even act like I was in labor. We got to the hospital they took a test and said my water was leaking and I was ready to have a baby. The doc came in said I was 4 cm and broke my water. I was admitted at 9:45 am and then the contractions started they weren't too bad till about 8 cm. I asked for an epidural and that was painful felt like my spine was being ripped out the first attempt failed. They numbed my back some more and stuck me again and finally had my epidural in. After that I was numb but not to where I couldn't move my legs. 10:00 pm it was time to push and it did not hurt the epidural made it numb and I felt pressure but not pain. 10:06 my baby was here and all was well they cut me a little so they stitched that up and I did not feel it or notice them stitching me up. It was all over and it was time to bond with my little bundle of joy.
