My daughter walking.

I'm not really sure where to post this.. And it's rather frustrating to me. My daughter, she's almost 2 and a half now. And she just refuses to walk. I don't know what to do anymore. It's so frustrating. She crawls and gets around so quickly. She cruzes on furniture as well, and will walk only if she's holding my hand. She has taken plenty of steps on her own. And she can stand on her own as well. I've also caught her walking while she thought no one was looking. And honestly, it's kinda embarrassing to see children that are a year or so younger than her running around and while she needs me to hold her hand while she walks.. Anyone else have this problem? And any advice at all to encourage her to walk? I just don't know what to do anymore ):
