Induction??

So I'm 4 days away from being 40 weeks, if I still haven't had any signs of labour does that mean they'll induce me at 40 weeks??

Unless you are high risk (diabetes, big babyfor example) you wont be induced until closer to 42 weeks.

Typically they want you to go no later than 42 weeks. I'm being induced at 38 weeks 5 days (on September 6) due to upcoming spine surgery.

My OB said she likes to wrap everything up at 41 weeks and scheduled mine at 41 exactly. I think it depends on your dr but they won't have you go past 42 weeks.

From what I've always heard they schedule you around 41 or 42 weeks for an induction. If you're at 40 weeks and show no signs of progression then they will bring it up

Depends where you live. Generally unless you want to be induced they'll let you go to 42 weeks
