is it serious? what should I do?

So my boyfriend and I have been having sex a lot and in many places and different positions as well.. Since Monday! Til today.. Yesterday, after he left, I had an incredible itch in my clitoris and somewhat in my vagina. I treated it by switching to cotton underwear and drinking some water. Nothing really changed so later that night, I sat in the toilet and started pouring water and attempting to wash it. I went to bed after that and the next morning it was kinda gone ! :D like I felt it reduce its itchiness... Ugh! Then my boyfriend came over again this morning, we did it again. Cause I thought I had no more itch, etc. but big mistake on trying a new position again! (Can't help it, my boyfriend is irresistible and I love him lots) after we have done it and everything, he left again to do his thing :c then OMG my vagina was very hot and it was incredibly painful. I felt like I have faced a new boss level. It burned a lot and it was super itchy - it was the worst feeling yet! Cause I couldn't even touch t anymore :c so now I'm running out of ideas ;-; I had updated my boyfriend on what's wrong and he insisted I took a bath and drink more water and get it checked out :c but I don't think it's that serious.. Is it?
