Will plan b cause you to miss your period?

This is my second time taking plan b. The first time I took the pill, I was just paranoid. But, this time the condom actually broke & I had no choice because I am pretty sure I was ovulating. The first time my period came right on time, no worries. But, this time I have all the PMS symptoms but no period. My boobs hurt & I have cramps like I'm about to start, but when I use the bathroom there's nothing. Should I be worried? Also, when should I take a pregnancy test?

As Azriel said, it really does mess your period up. The second time I took plan B, it seriously threw my period off. I was late by a month. I took two tests to put my mind at ease, and eventually my period came. Plan b is a blessing, but it's also a curse. The side effects are terrible and it'll mess your body rhythm off pretty bad

I have taken plan B once(I was paranoid like you) I'm sensitive to drugs I guess since it did throw my cycle for a loop even though I am on bc. It also doesn't help that your probably stressing- which can alter your cycle as well. Just wear a panty liner and keep your tampons, pads, cup whatever you use on hand. (I use a menstrual cup, and wear it the day before I'm expecting my period just in case. Since you can.) Everyone reacts differently. As for the test I say get a box with 2-3. Test now to put your mind at ease. And again to get a more accurate reading when the directions tell you too (generally a few days before you expect your period) by getting the box with several you have one to test with the directions one to test if your late, and if needed one you could use now.
