was the guy flirting?
I have a boyfriend and we've been together for over a year now and we're very open with each other and talk about a lot of things. If someone were to ever flirt with us, ask us out, or anything related to that then we tell each other, it's something we both agreed to as we don't want to hide things in our relationship, even if we think it's harmless.
In class, this guy that I think I used to know in middle school sat in this seat in front of me. He asked who sat there, and when I told him who it was he said "eh, I can beat him up anyways."
I thought it was a weird thing to say out of nowhere, but I didn't think much of it. He turned around trying to talk to me by mentioning one of my interests (our teacher did a class "interview" where we talked about ourselves to the class to get to know people).
I didn't want to be rude so I engaged in a small conversation with him, but he just sounded like, he was trying to impress me? Am not sure if I'm looking at it the wrong way, but he was trying to seem all tough and macho. And then he asked if I was still dating my boyfriend.
That caught me off guard since he doesn't know who my boyfriend is, and he didn't even know that we were dating either. When I told him we were, he turned around and asked the teacher to go to another seat...
I'm sorry if I'm over exaggerating or overthinking this situation, but I just wasn't sure if he was flirting or not so that I could tell me boyfriend what happened. Like I said, we're very open and don't like to keep things like this "hidden away" from each other.
