My EDD was 8/30/16

My EDD was 8/30/16. Starting at 37 weeks my swelling was severe and I had two mildly elevated blood pressures.. On 8/29 I got a headache that would not go away and two incidents of blurry vision.. On 8/30 I went to my NST test, I was 2cm and 50% effaced. My BP was elevated again so I was sent to labor and delivery triage.. Doctor decided to induce me since I was 40weeks.. I was given one dose of misoprostal and 4 hours later my water broke. Contractions came on strong and fast.. After three hours since my water broke (7 hours after the miso) I got the epideral.. What a relief!! I fell asleep for two hours and at 7 am felt like I needed to push. Doctor checked me and I was 10 cm, doctor double checked bc they were shocked how quickly I progressed with barely any induction meds as a FTM. I pushed for 30 minutes. It did get scary when her heart beat dropped a few times but I pushed her out quickly.. It was an amazing experience and I've never been more in love!! Olivia Susan was born at 857am on 8/31/16, 6lbs 12oz, 19 3/4". Everyone is doing great !💕🌈
