Any relief for swollen hands and numb fingers??

For the past couple weeksmy hands have been so swollen and several of my fingers are numb. They also hurt very badly, like theres rubber bands wrapped around them cutting off circulation and i can barely bend them. My feet are also very swollen but i wear compression socks to help with that, but is there anything i can do during the day to help with my hands??

So sorry to hear that this is common! But also glad I'm not alone. I had a flare up with my hands for about 3 weeks - maybe a month or 6 weeks before becoming pregnant. My left hand hurts more than the right. Sore, aching fingers and general hand pain with occassional numbness/burning/itching sensations. It went away until about 2 weeks ago. I'm now 33 weeks. I am assuming it's carpal tunnel. I work as a school custodian which is very hard on my hands. My left index finger is very painful - sometimes it makes it hard to get things done!:( I'm wondering if it's a vitamin deficiency or even my anemia - but will wait until after baby is born and see if it improves.

Anyone suggest any particular type of wrist brace?  Dealing with this just recently and the pain kept me up all night.  Are there particular types that work best for this?

I have it very bad too, my wrists hurts so bad i can cry.... What do the wrist braces look like, can any one post a picture? Im 35W4D and i would do anything to take the pain away

Like other said, sounds like pregnacy carpel tunnel. Had it with my first really bad. My Drs office had handbraise that I bought. You can find them on Amazon also, just look up carpel tunnel braise. They really helped me a lot. I know how painful and anoying this can be, so sorry!

It sounds like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome which definitely happens in pregnancy, mine started when hands and feet began swelling around 34 weeks! You can look up (or ask your doc) about stretches for carpal tunnel, they do help especially when pain is the worst.  Also wear wrist braces at night.  Saved me!

Oh my gosh! I feel you! Every night my hands are numb and throughout the day! I hate it!!!!! I wish I knew what to do about it!

My doctor told me to wear wrist guards while I sleep because mine is worst right when I wake up. But if you have a job that you can wear them all day, I would do that! It really helps me.

You probably have carpal tunnel, I do. I wear wrist braces to help the circulation. You can get some at the pharmacy
