About a blocked tear duct?? Haven't had the chance to go to the pediatrician yet, but thinking that's the cause of my baby's goopy eye

I put a couple of drops of breastmilk in my baby's eye with a dropper and did a massage on the inner corner of her eye and it literally healed up within hours. I was honestly a call away from making an appointment with my doctor for eye drops before I tried the breastmilk and it healed it right up.

Are you breast feeding? If so, wetting a wash cloth with the breast milk and gently wiping  around the eye will clear it right up.

My son's pediatrician said a warm soft wash cloth on the eye as often as we saw the goop build up. As well as breast milk on the ducts.
