is this normal?

So sometimes my discharge is a thick white milky color and it smells a little bit like metal but not a strong smell, then sometimes it has like almost a fishy smell, and then other times there's no smell at all. It's like an on and off thing. I'm thinking maybe my PH balance could be off? What do you all think?
