food aversions on nexplanon?
So I had my nexplanon inserted on July 8th and got my period three days later. I again got my period on the 8th of August and didn't have sex until the 22nd of August. This is my second nexplanon insertion. With the first I never had any bad side effects and never got a period. But I have had two since my recent implant. My period is now "technically" late, and I have been having side effects that are different from when I had my first implant in.
Nausea for the past few days, sever food adversions as well, and a strong sense of smell, I also have been having really weird feelings and throbbing down there, unlike my regular period. I have had two children prior to this and have always had nausea and food adversions and the same sleepy, skin crazy feeling along with the weird feelings down there. I know that the nexplanon may cause pregnancy symotoms but I remember thinking "they inserted it wrong" when I got my recent implant in. But trusted that it was all in my head. The spot I had it in before was way off from where they put it in now.
Has anyone else been on nexplanon and experiences these types of symptoms before? I know that it's super rare to get pregnant on this or any birth control for that matter and am waiting for an appointment with my doc, but thought I would reach out in the mean time.
