birth control options ??

Question

I was on Depo for about a year and had the worst experience with it. I am finally off and am looking to find another better form of birth control for myself. I really would prefer something low hormones or no hormones. I've looked into the copper IUD and can't decide if it will be a good choice for me. Also fertility wise how bad can birth control affect my chances later in life?

Birth control messes with the natural processes of our bodies , and there are many chances that birth control may help you not get pregnant, but when you do want to it will be hard or it may even take that chance away. The iud I have heard so many bad things about it . My sister had it and ended up in the hospital and now has to see a specialist for removal because something went wrong. You have to be careful with these birth controls .

The only birth control I trust is the implant (implanon) due to the fact that I was on the pill for two years and it caused me to have severe black outs and irregular heart beats. The pill also caused my depression and anxiety to increase. The injection is annoying and requires you to keep going back to your doctor for check ups and needles are gross! 
The implant is 99.9% effective, works after 24hrs and doesn't effect the chances of having children later on in life. It also lasts 3yrs before you have to take it out, so it's great for young people! I do know the pill can alter your body and make it difficult to become pregnant in some cases. I suggest going to your doctor and asking them what would be the best option for you
