my ex showed people a video he took of us (i had no idea he took it) nobody told me till almost a week or two later... i know embarrassing right! anyways im underage and hes over 18 so i would like to know what i can do

What he did is illegal. If you're underage, it's child pornography which is a really serious crime. And I'm pretty sure it's also a crime if you didn't know you were being recorded. You don't have to actually call tell the cops if you don't want to but just tell him you will if he doesn't stop showing people and delete it.

First off, you need to know the minimum age and the age of consent in your state/ country. For example, in Canada, the age of consent is 16 (you can consent to anyone then, even if they're not a minor) but the minimum age is 14. Someone's who is 14 or 15 can have sex with people 4 years older than them and that's it. It's still legal then I believe. Second, talk to him and tell him the seriousness of his actions. Tell him he will become a registered sex offender and may spend time in jail. If all else fails, go to the police
