fetal Doppler question?!

Okay ladies so I heard my babies HB at 8 weeks and 5 days and now I am 9 weeks and 3 days and for the past couple of days I cannot find it! Getting alittle worried! Anyone else have this problem?!

I went to my ob yesterday and she was unable to find the baby's heartbeat at 12 weeks 4 days... she sent me for an ultrasound and turns out everything was just fine but it just shows you that sometimes it's just too early!

My doctor told me to not even try until second trimester because of this very reason. Some doctors won't even be able to find it with a dopler at 8 or even 12 weeks. So I would put the dopler down for a few weeks so you don't get so worried.

I have one and it wasn't till 12 weeks that I could find it every time I tried the times before that would be hit or miss its hard to find baby when its that small and hides behind other sounds. I noticed I heard better when I had headphones in also so maybe try that

My midwife wouldn't even look for a heart rate at 8 weeks because it's possible not to be able to find it. (Even at 12 weeks it took 30 - 45 seconds)

So if people who spend years if school doing this might not be able to find it, it's totally normal that you can't. 
At my 16 weeks appointment we heard the heartbeat right away!

Wait until your further along to try using the Doppler at home. You'll just stress yourself out.

They're still teeny tiny and have plenty of room to move around so you may or may not be able to find it for days at a time. It's nothing to be too worried about though. :)
