best sleep training advice?

What's your best sleep training advice? Articles? Books?

I want to do some research on the best way to get this baby to sleep/ nap!

My baby has been really good at sleeping since she was born. But Its because everytime I see her getting sleepy I put her in her own bed and let her put herself to sleep. Half the time i wake up in the morning and shes already awake just playing. She doesnt cry unless shes hungry. Honestly it was the best thing I could of done, I just always let her put herself to sleep. Rarely do I ever rock her to sleep.

Honestly, there is so much out there on the Internet...it's overwhelming to me. So many tips and conflicting information. The only thing I read that I have started doing religiously is putting him down drowsy. He now puts himself to sleep and when he wakes in the night he doesn't cry...just moves around a bit then goes back to sleep. Good luck mama!

I've been reading a ton because I'm so sleep deprived I've become obsessed with sleep. My LO still wakes every 2-3 hours at night, is formula fed and fat! 😂 My ped just gave me the go ahead to eliminate night feeds and work on getting her to sleep through the night. So that's step one- decide if you want/need to keep night feeds. 
Step two- do you want a more gentle approach, or are you ok with baby crying some (or a lot in some methods!)? Just keep in mind ALL forms of sleep training involve some crying as baby is protesting the change and learning something new.
Gentle- the books I found helpful were the No cry sleep solution- can find a free version online. And the Sleep lady shuffle- the method I plan on trying here soon. 
If it doesn't work, I'll go with Ferber- you can buy his book or just google it. There's tons on it you can find online. Hope this helps!

I'm also interested in this. My daughter is 21 weeks today. Debating on taking away her binky but I'm afraid she won't understand! She needs her binky to sleep 😧
