Donating Eggs

Hi ladies!
A little background info, I'm a 20 year old full time college student. My family has had a very hard year my brother was hospitalized with an ongoing sickness, I needed emergency surgery, our family dog was sick and eventually we had to put him down but we racked up some vet bills, my mother was laid off, and I was in a car accident where we completely totaled one of our cars. My parents are so generously putting both my brother and I through college and but I know we are very strapped for cash. My bother and I both have part time jobs. I am only able to work on the weekends so I am really only making enough for gas for my car.
I have been doing my research, and reading online about donating your eggs. I'm so curious! It seems so wonderful that I would be able to help people who can't have babies and it will allow me to help my family out. I don't want little ones of my own so I think this will allow me to have a purpose and I'm pretty desperate for cash. Although, the idea of being compensated for something my body produces leads me to believe this may be too good to be true.
I have no history of mental illness or hereditary illnesses in my family. I am 4'10" and 97 lbs. Would my size influence my eligibility? I lead a healthy lifestyle and the only medication I am on is 100mg of doxycycline and 100mg spironolactone taken daily for acne. I've been on these for about three months. Although, they aren't necessary and I'm willing to go off them if I were to donate.
How many of you have done this? If so, what was the process like? Is it worth it? How much were you compensated? Does it have any long term effects on your body or fertility? What was the recovery like? How did the fertility treatments effect you? Please help me make this decision and leave me tips. Any information is helpful! Thank you 😊
