Girdle?

Question

Has anyone used or is anyone planning on using a girdle after giving birth? I've been seeing it all over and was wondering if it was even worth it?

This is my 3rd baby, I've never used an expensive one. Just one from Walmart. I put it on when I leave the hospital after baby's born and don't take it off for about 2 months, unless to shower/change. My stomach and hips feel supported and I've never had a problem with muscle separation or anything. My mom and grandma both did the same, which is the reason I did it the first time. It seriously helps so much. In fact I've got two girdles in my hospital bag already since I won't know what size I'll need.

I always comment on this subject when anyone posts. I bought an expensive Belly Bandit with my first and found it bulky and uncomfortable. I recommend this! $5 at Wal-Mart. Can't beat the price and I felt that it was much easier to hide under clothing. I was back in my pre-pregnancy jeans by two weeks post-partum.

I bought a belly bandit that was on sale... I didn't use one with my first and had no problems bouncing back but that was 5 years ago and my first child. Here's to hoping this helps this time around!

I don't believe In girdles, In fact I think that it doesn't help in the elasticity of your belly naturally, but messes up with the process. Just keep tightening your belly daily and work out .

I'm just bought a normal workout belly tightener belt thing lol. My sister and a couple of my friends did the same thing and it helped them 😀 I figured something is better than nothing but I will be waiting till the day I get home to put it on, rumor has it some doctors frown upon the use of girdles 😁

I'm planning on it. Don't know which I'll choose though. Just to help my muscles tighten back together. They say to only use a few hours a day.
