Constipation😢

My son is just over 3 months old now and he's never had a problem pooping. He's always eaten fine and everything. Lately, for the past few weeks, he's only been pooping like once every two or three days and when he does go, it's kind of thick and very sticky. I do need to take him to the doctor, I know this but we only have one vehicle and my husband works all the time so I'm resorting to maybe trying home remedies if anything is safe for him being this young. Any suggestions please?
