Sex with a vasectomy??

I had (unprotected) sex with a man who said he had a vasectomy about five years ago. He is STI free so i'm not concerned about that, but I am still nervous about the sterile part, as I just really don't want kids right now, and my fertile window starts tomorrow. Are there steps I can/should take afterward or am I overreacting?

You have 72 hrs after having sex to take Plan B if you feel it is necessary. But this should only be taken very rarely as the more you take it the less effective it becomes.
Vasectomies aren't always 100%. Sometimes it actually doesn't take and their tube heals itself and sometimes sperm makes it's way through anyways. So like with any birth control, it's best to use at least two forms. So condoms, spermicide, or BC would help protect you if you feel it's necessary. Use as many forms of contraceptive as you feel necessary to be comfortable and protected.

You can take plan b if you feel its necessary but you have 3 days after sex to do so and just because he said hes snipped doesnt mean he cant get you pregnant because he sure can use condoms or get on birth control
