Masturbating at 16

So I'm 16 and I live with my grandparents. While she was snooping through my things while I was in school she came across my vibrator, (she's an alcoholic). She came into my room drunk and started telling me about how her children never masturbated and if her husband ever did it she would kick him out of the house. She said the thought of it made her sick. What are your opinion?
