should I still get my DH a "daddy to be" gift?

Hi everyone! My DH and I found out last week that we are expecting! Last weekend was my birthday weekend and also when AF was due. We figured it would be best to take a test to make sure I wasn't pregnant before I drank at my BBQ. Having him involved when I took my tests was never in my plan because I always wanted to announce it to him as a gift since this is our first. I still feel like he got the short end of the stick because he saw my vfl and I had to ask his opinion 😂. So my question is, should I still give him a gift? Or it is what it is?
