A side effect or pregnancy? 😭

Ok. So I'm taking Loestrin. I take the pill religiously which I even have an alarm set up for and haven't missed a single one. I still have over a week in active pills but today I started my period. It wasn't like the usual period bc the flow is VERY light. Plus, I had bad cramps followed by sharp pain inside my vagina. Could this be implantation cramps? It's been a little less than a week since I last had sex. Just wondering if it's normal side effect of the pill or if it could be the beginning a pregnancy. PLEASE help and comment if you've had anything similar!
