Since the beginning of my pregnancy my older brother told me that he was concerned for the well being of my child/saying I'd be a shitty parent just to be mean. I forgave him for that. Then when I was about 8 months I had aggression issues with my Pitbull and was going to have her adopted for the fear of my newborn and my brother stated that 'it's a bullshit reason that you're giving her away just because she's aggressive' and pretty much stating the dog's life is more valuable than my baby's (mind you- he has no kids of his own).
