Should my baby be able to roll over?

My son is 3 months old and he hates tummy time, he literally lasts minutes then he screams his head off. I'm worried he'll never learn to roll as he doesn't last long on his stomach. Should my son be able to roll from tummy to back yet?

My baby hates tummy time too, so I didn't make him do it. But one day I laid him down and he jus started rolling both ways! Oh before that, he would turn to his back,  but I would always miss it. He was almost 4 months when he started.  Now at 4 months he turns both ways and scooting.  Don't worry your LO when do it when they're ready and not forced to do it. 😊 now I can't lay him just anywhere anymore.

Each baby is different and does things at a different pace.

At 3 months my son could roll from back to belly and belly to back. He however was a ball of energy from day one and went on to hit all his physical milestones early, he was running by his first birthday.

My new daughter at almost 5 months is only just starting to roll and only from back to belly unless she falls over. She absolutely  loathes tummy time or doing anything that takes any sort of effort Lol she's my lazy baby

Some babies can at this age, some can't. Every baby is different, and every baby hits these milestones at different ages. My baby rolled from back to belly first, because she hated tummy time. Then she had to figure out how to roll back over.
