When he is asking you to go to a concert with him, should he/does he buy you the ticket! How much is the cut off cost of ticket!

He asked me to go to ACL with him. 1-day ticket is $100! I've always been a frugal person, $100 for a concert is crazy to me, bit I still got it on my own.

Was he like "hey, I'm going to this concert. Do you want to come with me?" (Which sounds like he has the ticket) or was it like "you should come to this concert" ?

I have always thought the one doing the asking does the paying. In a group is a different story, but a one on one I expect to pay if I invite and so should he.

Unless he says "hey I have an extra ticket and I'd like you to come with me" you can't really assume he's gonna payy. An invite is essentially just saying I want you to accompany me to this concert unless stated otherwise

I think it depends. I mean I'd expect to pay unless the person asking said they would pay for it. Alot of time I'll ask people to things and not expect them to pay because if I really want to go to something I buy two tickets and just get someone to go. But if it was expensive I'd expect the other person to buy it.

I feel it depends on your stage in life. When I was dating $100 was a big deal so I wouldn't expect him to pay. Now it wouldn't be as much so I would kind of expect him to pay since he invited you.
