Beyond irritated!!

My husband and i are going through a divorce and have a son and one on the way. We decided on it because our arguing was too extreme for the kids to handle. After having very limited contact with each other we had gone to therapy separately to help ourselves and our kids. We started talking more again and decided after tge divorce to slowly start again. My family is trying to involve themselves and i realize they care but my mom told me if she sees him around my house she will call the cops and have him taken away! I feel like this is extreme because we realized our mistakes and are doing the proper steps to get passed them and change. Im 25 i know what im doing!! Why cant she see it?
